For the third time, The Wizard of Oz was presented at the Kitsap Forest Theater (1966, 2003). It was led by the same team as the 2003 production with Craig Schieber directing and Guy Caridi choreographing. Barbara Klingberg did the customing with Chris Stanley handling sets. Ben Bentler did the accompaniment to Claire Marx's music direction.
One of the hits of the show was Guy Caridi's choreography of The Jitterburg, a dance number which was left out of the movie and the 1966 production.
Jasmine Harrick portrayed Dorothy with her father, Tod Harrick, as the Tinman, TJ Burzynski II as the Lion, Dawn Brazel as the Wicked Witch, and choreographer Guy Caridi as the Scarecrow.
John Lange stepped in a couple weeks before opening to be portray the Wizard of Oz. He had so little time to memorize lines that he was still 'on book' during the week before opening.
