For the third year in a row, Kitsap Forest Theater presented another movie turned musical with their presentation of Disney's The Little Mermaid
Directed by Andrew Coopman with Benjamin Bentler as musical director and Molly Hill as choreographer, the forest was plunged 'under the sea'.
Anna Vizare portrayed Ariel, the mermaid who wants more than just being a mermaid. Kori Lopreore was the one who convinced her to transform her into a human, Prince Eric.
There was a superb set of supporting actors with Jason Gingold as Ariel's father King Triton and Natasha Chen as the sea witch Ursula (who played it as a wicked siren). Jonathan Fowles was a hit, particularly with his version of 'Under the Sea'. Coleman Hunter also was extremely popular as a young Flounder.
