Kitsap Forest Theater is a hidden gem in the greater Puget Sound arts community. Stroll down a forested trail to our breathtaking natural amphitheater — one of the oldest nonprofit theaters in the country — nestled in a 460-acre Rhododendron Preserve near Bremerton. Giant fir trees surround terraced seating carved from a hillside, while lush ferns serve as nature's footlights. All ages will delight in this unique Northwest experience. Come early and picnic under the firs before the show and create a treasured family tradition.
Beyond our three productions, the Mountaineers Players offer summer day camps for kids and a Salmon Safari for the whole family each November. Join us as an audience member, actor, or behind-the-scenes volunteer — and become part of our unique community where love of the outdoors meets quality theater. Featured on King 5 Evening Magazine in 2021.
We welcome everyone with open arms to be part of our group.
